Audio Storytelling

Podcasts

For three years, I collaborated with clients in the science, policy, and healthcare sectors to transform complex topics into engaging stories that both inform and captivate their target audiences. Below are three podcasts that showcase my best work.

Data Nation, Season One

Data Nation Season One is a narrative talk show series that examined how to think critically about the data behind today’s most pressing issues. Through the lens of data science, we explored topics related to news, policy, business, health, and policing. Each episode featured a different case study on how data has been — and will be — used to lead, mislead, manipulate, and inform key decisions shaping our world. This project was a collaboration between MIT’s Institute for Data, Systems, and Society and Voxtopica.

My Role: Director of Content

  • Researched episode topics and collaborated with hosts to shape the story arc for each episode

  • Developed thoughtful interview questions for guests

  • Reviewed and edited interview audio, making final cuts for clarity and flow

  • Structured audio content into a compelling narrative

  • Wrote talking points for host narration and co-wrote vignettes to support key data points

  • Crafted episode show notes and marketing copy to promote the series

The Future of Nursing

The Future of Nursing is an 8-part narrative series that explores practical strategies for nurses to advance health equity. The Science of Mentorship
